Frequently asked questions

Everything worth knowing before your first cleaning. Still stuck? Reach out and we'll answer directly.

Service

No. As long as your empty bins are accessible after trash collection, we can complete the service.

After your normal trash collection on pickup day or by the following morning. We build routes around trash day and neighborhood, so your cleaning lands in that window rather than at a time you pick individually.

No problem. Collection times can move. Our service window extends through the following morning so we can work around the hauler's schedule.

We confirm the bins are empty and accessible, remove loose debris, apply a cleaner and degreaser, pressure wash and rinse, then finish with a disinfecting and sanitizing step. Bins are drained, positioned neatly, and you get a notification when service is complete.

Yes. We connect to an outdoor spigot at your home for the cleaning, so we just need one that's accessible and turned on when we come by. If your spigot is behind a locked gate or in a side yard, let us know in the access notes when you book.

The amount we use per cleaning is small — comparable to rinsing off a driveway — so you shouldn't see a meaningful difference on your water bill.

We serve Murrieta and the surrounding Southwest Riverside County area. We build routes neighborhood by neighborhood, so if you're just outside our current coverage, book anyway or send us a note — we'll let you know as soon as your street is on a route.

We'll reach out before rescheduling. Please leave your empty bins curbside or otherwise reachable until we confirm service is done, and use the access notes on the booking form to tell us about gates, dogs or where the bins are normally stored.

Pricing & payment

No. Choose only the bins you want serviced. Your plan price covers the first 2 bins, and additional bins are $10 each.

Your card stays securely on file through our payment processor and is charged when your scheduled recurring service is due. Quarterly customers are charged every three months; monthly customers every month. You'll get a receipt each time.

Yes, on one-time service. Choose "Pay cash at service" when you book and no card is needed up front — you'll pay our technician directly at the time of the cleaning. Because cash is collected in person, someone will need to be home on your service day to hand off payment.

Quarterly and monthly plans are card-only. Those plans work by keeping a card securely on file so each scheduled cleaning is charged automatically — that's what lets us service your bins without you needing to be home.

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, and card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page. The Bin Doctor never sees or stores your full card number.

Yes — there's no contract. Message us before your next scheduled cleaning to pause, cancel, switch plans or change how many bins we service.

We do. Refer a neighbor who completes a paid cleaning and get your next cleaning free. Additional bins remain $10 each.

Just have them mention your name and service address when they book, and we'll apply the credit to your next scheduled service.

One-time ($45) is a reset when your bins have gotten bad. Quarterly ($35) keeps them from getting there in the first place and is what most households choose. Monthly ($30) is the lowest per-visit price and makes the most sense for larger households, hot summer months, or anyone dealing with recurring odor.

Booking

You'll get a confirmation, and we'll verify your normal collection day and place you on the route that matches your trash day and neighborhood. We'll confirm your service details and timing before your first cleaning.

Not at all — select "Not sure." Pickup times vary anyway, so we treat them as estimates for route planning. We verify your normal collection day whenever possible.

Yes. A standard cleaning handles most bins, but some need more — that's what our add-ons are for:

Odor treatment (+$5) for bins that stay sour after a normal wash. Maggot treatment (+$7) for active infestations. Need both? They're $10 together, which saves you $2.

Add-ons are charged per service. Just mention it in your access notes when you book and we'll take care of it.

Yes. HOA and multi-home communities are quoted individually, since bin counts and layouts vary a lot between neighborhoods. Get in touch with your community name and an approximate number of homes and we'll put together pricing.
