Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026. These are the terms that apply when you book a cleaning with us.
1. What we do
The Bin Doctor cleans residential trash, recycling and green waste bins at your property. A standard service includes removing loose debris, applying a cleaner and degreaser, pressure washing and rinsing, and finishing with a deodorizing rinse. Bins are drained and set back neatly when we're done.
2. Service area
We currently serve Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee and Wildomar, California, and parts of the surrounding Southwest Riverside County area. If your address falls outside our current routes we'll tell you before charging you, and nothing is charged until service is confirmed.
3. Pricing
- Every plan covers your first 2 bins.
- Additional bins are $10 each, per service.
- One-Time service is $45. Quarterly is $35 per service, billed every three months. Monthly is $30 per service, billed monthly.
- Optional add-on treatments — odor ($5), maggot ($7), or both bundled ($10) — are charged per service and requested when you book.
- Prices are shown before any applicable taxes and may change with notice. Any change to a recurring plan's price will be communicated before it takes effect.
4. Scheduling and the service window
We build routes by neighborhood and trash day rather than by appointment. Service is completed after your normal trash collection on your pickup day, or by the following morning. We cannot guarantee a specific time of day. Collection times shift, weather happens, and routes occasionally run long — if service will fall outside the stated window, we'll let you know.
5. What we need from you
To complete a cleaning, you agree to:
- Leave your bins empty and accessible after collection — curbside or otherwise reachable.
- Provide an accessible outdoor water connection (a working spigot) at the service address. Our service connects to your water supply.
- Tell us in the access notes about gates, gate codes, dogs, or anything else affecting access.
- Secure pets during your service window.
If your bins aren't accessible, aren't empty, or there's no usable water connection when we arrive, we'll attempt to contact you before rescheduling. Repeated inaccessible visits on a recurring plan may be billed as completed services, since the route stop was made.
6. Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Recurring plans (Quarterly and Monthly) are charged today to start service, then charged automatically on that same billing cycle — every month or every three months, respectively — until cancelled. The billing date is tied to when you sign up, not necessarily to the date of each individual visit.
Pay at Service is available on one-time service only. Payment — cash, card, or a secure payment link — is collected in person once the cleaning is complete. Someone must be present on your service day to settle up. Recurring plans are card-only.
7. Recurring plans and cancellation
There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Call or text (951) 397-1590 before your next scheduled cleaning to pause, cancel, change plans, or change how many bins we service. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — we don't prorate partial periods, and you keep any service already paid for.
Need an extra bin cleaned on a single upcoming visit? Let us know before your service day and we'll add it to that cleaning and to your next invoice at the usual $10.
8. The 48-hour guarantee
If you're not happy with a cleaning, tell us within 48 hours of service and we'll return and re-clean your bins at no charge. Requests made after 48 hours fall outside the guarantee, because by then the bin has typically been used again and we can no longer assess our own work. The guarantee covers a re-clean; it is not a refund guarantee.
9. Referral offer
Refer a neighbor who completes a paid cleaning and your next cleaning is free. The referred customer must mention your name and service address when they book. Additional bins remain $10 each. Credits apply to a single scheduled service, aren't redeemable for cash, and we may modify or end the offer at any time.
10. Photos
We may photograph the inside of your bins before and after service for quality records. We will not publish photos that identify you, your address or your property without your permission. If you'd rather we didn't photograph your bins at all, just tell us.
11. Limits on our responsibility
We take care with your property, but bins are outdoor plastic containers that arrive to us in varying condition. We aren't responsible for pre-existing damage, cracks, fading, warping, stains that will not lift, or wear that becomes visible once dirt is removed. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
12. Right to decline service
We may decline or discontinue service — including for hazardous contents, unsafe access, aggressive animals, non-payment, or abusive conduct toward our technician. If we discontinue a prepaid recurring plan, we'll refund any unused portion.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted here at the time you book is the one that applies to that booking. Material changes affecting recurring customers will be communicated before they take effect.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Riverside County, California.
